They are currently looking for a Senior Property Underwriter to join their Singapore office. As a Senior Property Underwriter, you will play a pivotal role in our client’s underwriting team, responsible for assessing and underwriting complex property insurance risks. Your expertise and insights will contribute to our client’s continued success in offering reliable property insurance solutions.

Job Description

• Evaluate and underwrite property insurance policies for diverse clients.
• Analyze complex data, market trends, and risk factors to make informed underwriting decisions.
• Collaborate with brokers and clients to gather comprehensive information for risk assessment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior underwriting team members.
• Stay updated on industry developments and emerging trends in property underwriting.

Requirements

• Degree in Business or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in property underwriting.
• Strong understanding of property risk assessment and insurance underwriting practices.
• Proven track record in handling complex property insurance cases.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications are a plus.
