Right now, they are looking for an experienced Quantitative Trading System Engineer to join their team in Shanghai, China. As a Quantitative Trading System Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and optimization of cutting-edge trading systems for our client’s well-established Hedge Fund. 

 

Job Description

  • Participate in daily development/maintenance of a low-latency high-frequency trading platform, including underlying architecture, market data, trading engine and transaction order processing
  • Establish interface to domestic and foreign exchanges for quotation and trading, based on different protocols such as REST/ WebSocket /FIX.
  • Maintain communication with the business needs, continuously enhance and optimize system functions
  • Operational tools development.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience as a Quantitative Trading System Engineer, ideally within the hedge fund or financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, or similar languages.
  • Strong experience in building and optimizing trading systems, algorithmic trading, and market connectivity.
  • Familiarity with high-frequency trading concepts, order execution, and risk management.
  • Solid understanding of financial instruments, market microstructure, and trading strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
