At this moment, they are looking for an experienced Project Director (Design Studio/Building Materials) to join their Singapore team. As a Project Director within the Design Studio/Building Materials division, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the successful execution of residential and commercial projects. You will be leveraging your extensive experience in design and construction, you will be a driving force in delivering excellence, creativity, and functionality to each project.
Job Description
- Lead and manage a team of talented professionals, including designers, architects, and project managers.
- Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from concept development to project completion and handover.
- Collaborate closely with clients, understanding their needs and translating them into innovative design solutions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative design approaches.
- Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and enhancing client relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in project management within the design and construction industry.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing and leading project teams.
- In-depth knowledge of design principles, building materials, and construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
