Our Client

Our client is a global pharmaceutical company, dedicated to improving the lives of patients through the development and commercialization of innovative therapeutics. They have a broad portfolio of therapies that spans across various therapeutics areas, with a particular focus on oncology. Right now, they are seeking a highly qualified Medical Director to join their medical team and lead the efforts in advancing medical knowledge and developing new treatment options.

Job Description

• Provide medical expertise and leadership in the development and execution of medical strategies for various therapeutic fields
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of medical plans
• Develop and implement medical affairs advisory board plans and medical communications plans
• Represent the company as a scientific and medical expert to external stakeholders including healthcare professionals, academic institutions, and regulatory agencies
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, guidelines, and company policies
• Provide guidance and support to medical affairs team and other field-based medical teams

Requirements

• MD or PhD in a scientific discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with at least 3 years in a Medical Director role
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial design, regulatory requirements, and drug development process
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Ability to think strategically and critically
• Strong understanding of GCP and relevant regulations
• Experience in oncology is a plus.
