Our Client

Our client is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator headquartered in US. They are one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies and is known for its research and development of pharmaceutical products in a variety of therapeutic areas, including diabetes, oncology, immunology, neuroscience, and more. Right now, they are looking for a SVP, Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (based in United States) and this person will be fully responsible for the modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (typically annual volume, margin and compliance requirements). 

 

Job Description

  • Responsible for the full P&L of the business.
  • Leading a team of technical staff originating sales by positioning the organisation’s technology and identifying the best technical and commercial solution.
  • Promote the business value proposition of organisation’s technology and work in close cooperation with regional sales, account sales and commercial proposal staff.
  • Responsible for increasing market penetration by utilising in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy.
  • In charge of proposing different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers.
  • Prioritize information for decision making and uses technical experience and analytical thinking.
  • Leverage on multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
  • Responsible for leading small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
  • Explains information and developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.

 

Requirements

  • Master degree in health sciences is highly preferred
  • Proven commercial leader with 10 years of relevant working experience in the pharmaceutical field
  • Familiarity with radio-pharmaceuticals as well and/or medical device industry with commercial strategy, sales leadership, marketing and P&L management experience.
  • High-energy, entrepreneurial, collaborative, inspiring leader that is assertive, possesses a high degree of self-confidence and intellectual curiosity, exhibits a bias for action, demonstrates good executive presence, and has a track record of leading change and building businesses.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and quick recall
