Our Client

Our client is a reputable retail bank situated at Singapore CBD. Right now they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to oversee and lead the financial operations of their organization. The Head of Finance will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of the bank’s operations. This position requires a seasoned finance professional with a proven track record in financial management and leadership.

Job Description

• Develop and implement the bank’s financial strategy, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Assess and manage financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks, to protect the bank’s financial stability.\
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Monitor and analyze the bank’s financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies and initiatives that align with the bank’s goals.
• Manage the bank’s capital resources efficiently and optimize the allocation of capital to support growth and profitability.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, as well as tax authorities, to ensure compliance and timely resolution of issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior finance role within the banking industry.
• In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
