As a Construction Manager, you will be involved in overseeing the fit-out of Banking ATM housing projects, handling a range of valuable and complex ventures. In addition, you will play a pivotal role in driving excellence and ensuring the seamless execution of diverse projects under the umbrella of our esteemed client, a renowned project management company. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering exceptional outcomes and exceeding client expectations. You will be at the forefront of managing and supervising day-to-day construction site activities, leading a team of skilled professionals to bring projects to fruition.
Job Description
- Manage and supervise day-to-day construction site activities, ensuring compliance with budget, risk, schedule, design, safety, and quality management requirements.
- Identify potential risks and challenges that could impact project success and develop effective mitigation plans.
- Coordinate and collaborate with diverse teams involved in the project, including construction workers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Maintain close communication with clients, consultants, and subcontractors through regular meetings to address administrative, design, and contractual matters while providing project progress updates.
- Prepare the master construction schedule for site planning and tracking purposes.
- Conduct regular site safety meetings and implement necessary measures for safe working conditions and environmental control.
- Lead and monitor the progress of coordination drawings submitted by the local design consultant.
- Manage the technical handover process and ensure clients’ sign-off at the project’s conclusion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrate proven experience as a Construction Manager/Project Manager in the construction industry, particularly in fit-out projects.
- Possess exposure to corporate real estate and construction sectors, such as commercial offices, industrial, logistics, retail, and hospitality.
- Exhibit excellent project management skills, encompassing planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Show proficiency in construction safety regulations and practices.
- Have the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Display strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, making sound decisions under pressure.
